Halaniyat Islands 18-22 March
Dive the Untouched Halaniyat Islands
What you need to know
Join us for an exclusive expedition to the Halaniyat Islands, one of Oman’s most remote and untouched marine environments. Far from crowds and commercial dive traffic, this journey offers pristine reefs, dramatic underwater landscapes, and the feeling of true exploration in the Indian Ocean. Wednesday 18 March arrival in Salalah, where we overnight at a hotel. Dinner on this first evening is not included. Early the next morning, Thursday 19 March, we depart Salalah for a scenic drive of approximately three hours north, followed by a speedboat crossing of around one and a half hours (depending on sea conditions) to the Halaniyat Islands. Upon arrival, we settle into our rooms, each equipped with two single beds, and enjoy our first dive of the expedition. On Friday 20 March, we spend the day diving with three dives scheduled on remote and rarely explored sitesclose to the main island, showcasing healthy coral reefs and abundant marine life. Saturday 21 March follows the same rhythm, with three additional dives revealing more of the islands’ underwater diversity and character. On Sunday 22 March, after breakfast, we depart the islands by boat and return to the mainland, followed by the drive back to Salalah. Meals included until breakfast on Sunday only. Accommodation throughout the expedition is in simple but comfortable twin rooms, offering an authentic off-the-grid experience. This is an expedition-style trip, designed for divers seeking adventure, nature, and remote diving rather than luxury. Due to the location and reliance on sea conditions, a degree of flexibility is required, but this is part of what makes the Halaniyat Islands such a rare and unforgettable destination. Included in the price are 7 dives, acommodation (also the hotel in Salalh for the first night) and meals Flights are not included. If you require rental equipment it is a 150AED Surcharge Note that this trip is operated in a remote environment. Weather and sea conditions may result in itinerary changes, reduced diving, or delays in departure and return. No refunds will be issued for missed dives, altered schedules, or travel delays caused by weather, sea conditions, or other factors beyond the operator’s control.
